11 of 11: when i entered my 30s
So for the first time ever, I spent my birthday on vacation. I've always wanted to do this and this year, I did! My 30th birthday on the 11th of the month was well-spent in Hong Kong with my good friend, Lou.
It felt different and strange but also fun and new and hopefully a good omen to the start of my 30s. I am 30. It's hard to believe.

Au Revoir, Twenty-Nine!
Well this is new. I'm all packed. I'm taking a trip for my 30th birthday and it's strange that I won't be with family as I celebrate my birthday. And it's another year gone age-wise and I break my 12 of 12 to take 11 12 photos on the 11th of the month, because why not? I think the most important thing to note in this ‘voice post’ is that Livejournal NO LONGER supports the voice post. How insane is this? I am a creature of habit and having this one feature removed after nine years - thanks LJ for not even letting me reach 10 years - is pretty disconcerting to me. So yes, I'm now officially 28 and my birthday was pretty good, thanks very much for all you greetings and love! I took way more photos than the required and that was because I had planned not to do anything but ended up doing a lot of things. What's up: February 2013
February is my favorite month for many reasons and this year was a pretty good addition to all the February's of my life. Turning 26; saying goodbye to friends; doing new projects; seeing my friends and just really doing many more things that I love. ( Read more... )
